Vandals rally in 4th quarter to get by Aces at VHT

The Vandals rallied in the 4th quarter to come away with a win over the Mulberry Grove Aces, 62 to 55, in the 11 am game on Day 2 of the Vandalia Holiday Tournament.

The game was pretty tight throughout with several lead changes. The Vandals had a 20 to 15 lead after the first quarter. But, the Aces outscored the Vandals, 20 to 11, in the 2nd quarter to take a 35 to 31 halftime lead. The teams went back and forth quite a bit in the 3rd quarter with Mulberry Grove emerging with a 47 to 46 lead going into the 4th quarter. The Vandals were able to pull ahead and then build on that lead late and come away with a 7 point victory.
