On the final day to file, the area’s State Senator has made it official.
State Senator Jason Plummer officially filed his paperwork to run for re-election on Monday. Senator Plummer will run in the 55th Senate District and is the only candidate to file paperwork to run in the March 19th Primary. Senator Plummer was first elected in 2018 and is an Assistant Republican Leader in the Illinois Senate.
