Vandalia Fire Dept called to fire at Van Seal early Friday morning

The Vandalia Fire Department was called to a fire at Van Seal early this morning.

Vandalia Fire Chief Mark Meadows says the Vandalia Department was paged out to a fire at Van Seal at 4 am.  Chief Meadows says that while they were responding they were notified the fire was contained to an oven.  Chief Meadows says they arrived and extinguished the oven.  They were on the scene for about 45 minutes with 12 firefighters responding.
