(Washington, DC) — President Joe Biden is appointing Penny Pritzker to serve as the new U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery. The president says the former Secretary of Commerce and Chicagoan brings decades of experience and expertise to the position. She will drive the United States’ efforts to help rebuild the Ukrainian economy. Pritzker is the sister of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.
