Downtown Vandalia should be very busy on Saturday

Downtown Vandalia should be a very busy place on Saturday, especially that morning.

Downtown Vandalia will be hosting their monthly Farmer’s Market that morning.  And, Southwestern Electric Cooperative will be holding their 85th annual meeting at the Vandalia Statehouse.  At Tuesday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, City Administrator LaTisha Paslay talks about the street closures for that morning.

And, Paslay and Mayor Rick Gottman talk about what will be going on and why the annual meeting is being held in downtown Vandalia.

Also during Tuesday’s meeting, the Vandalia City Council held a moment of silence at the start of the meeting for 17 year old Olivia Blain of Vandalia, who died in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday evening.
