Labor Day events will kick off tonight and run through the holiday weekend.
The Patoka Fall Festival kicks off with their carnival at 5 pm tonight and the “Fun Show” in the arena at 6 pm tonight and music by Jamie Nattier in the small pavilion at 7 pm. Tomorrow will be a full day of events with the parade at 11 am, the carnival opening at noon with activities going on throughout the day and leading up to the Demo Derby at 7 pm in the arena.
The St. Elmo Labor Day Celebration will have activities starting this evening and running through the holiday weekend. Coming up on Monday will be their annual pancake and sausage breakfast at the fire house and the parade at 10:30 am. The quarter carnival and vendor booth will be from 11:30 to 3 at St. Elmo City Park with more activities going on throughout the evening.
