A Mattoon man was injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash in Fayette County.
Illinois State Police reports indicate the accident occurred at 9:32 pm on Sunday night At the Route 40/51 Junction just out of Vandalia. State Police reports indicate they responded to the location for a single vehicle motorcycle crash. State Police say the driver of the vehicle, 21 year old Jeremy E. Cowger of Mattoon, was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. State Police also add that Cowger was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
