The Vandalia City Clerk’s Office announced they are now accepting all major credit and debit cards for payments on many items.
The City Clerk’s Office posted on their Facebook page they are now able to accept credit and debit card payments on several items, including:
* Water bills
* Water deposit fees
* Reconnection fee for nonpayment
* Boat stickers
* Building permits
* Raffle license fees
* Solicitor’s license fees
* Cemetery plot fees
* Death certificate fees
* Food Truck vendor fees
* Liquor license fees
* Gaming license fees
They do note there is a 3% convenience fee that is charged by the credit card company.
