(Chicago, IL) — The Cubs completed a doubleheader sweep of the Cardinals with a 5-3 win at Wrigley Field. Starlin Castro and Addison Russell each knocked in a run and scored for the Cubs, who were 7-4 winners in the opener. Travis Wood earned the win in the relief and Jason Motte notched his fifth save. Jason Heyward plated a run and scored another for St.Louis. Seth Maness took the loss.

(Chicago, IL) — Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong left the first game of yesterday’s doubleheader after hitting his head while sprawling out to catch a pop up to shallow right in the fifth inning. Wong said he had a bit of a headache but did not feel concussed. He was replaced by Matt Carpenter.
