(Springfield, IL) — Governor Pritzker is ready to sign the Fiscal Year 2024 Illinois Budget. The roughly 50-billion-dollar state budget was approved by the Illinois House over the weekend. Pritzker released a statement thanking lawmakers for approving his office’s fifth balanced budget. He also said he looks forward to signing a budget that makes “childcare and education more accessible, healthcare more affordable, and our state’s business and economic position even stronger.”
