Both Altamont and South Central get ready for Regional Championships today in baseball.
The Altamont Indians are 25-8 on the season and have won 7 in a row and they are 25-8 on the season. They will have a big task in front of them today as they will take on Effingham St. Anthony in the Regional Championship. The game is at Bob Page Field in Brownstown at noon today.
The South Central Cougars are 23-6 on the season and will host the Regional Championship at Lion’s Field in Kinmundy. They will take on a surprise opponent, but a familiar one, in the Dieterich Movin’ Maroons. The game has been pushed back and will now be a 6 pm start this evening.
