The Illinois Fighting Illini had to rally from down 7 in the first overtime to defeat Michigan, 91 to 87, in double overtime on Thursday night on Senior Night for the Illini at State Farm Center in Champaign. Terrence Shannon, Junior was one of the Seniors honored on the night and has 21 points and 7 rebounds and he talks about the overtime rally.
And, Coach Brad Underwood says he is proud of his team.
Matthew Mayer had 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the way for the Illini, who improved to 20-10 overall and 11-8 in the Big 10. The Illini will wrap up the regular season on Sunday at Purdue.
