88 out of 102 Illinois counties are now at an increased risk of transmission of COVID-19. The Illinois Department of Public Health says they are still seeing high flu activity and plenty of COVID cases. Spokesperson Mike Claffey says if you do feel sick, make sure you take a test before getting together with family.
Public Health officials also encourage lots of hand washing and making sure areas with lots of people are well ventilated to help stop the spread of viruses.
