It’s been a warm December so far and it looks like Illinois is in store for more of the same in coming months. Temperatures so far in December have been 11 degrees above normal, and that’s meant we’ve short on snow says State Climatologist Jim Angel.
The latest long term outlooks calls for warmer and drier average weather all the way thru June in Illinois. But, this region has actually not been dry over the last few months—with above average rainfall in November and so far in December.
