he Illinois Prisoner Review Board is down two more members. The state Senate voted yesterday against Governor Pritzker’s nomination of Eleanor Wilson to the board. She had served on the board in an interim capacity since March of last year. State Senator Jason Plummer, who is the Republican spokesperson on the Executive Appointments Committee, says he wishes everyone could sit in committee.
Senator Plummer went on to say many of the issues with Wilson were troubling.
Another Pritzker nominee, Oreal James, resigned yesterday just before his nomination was to be considered by the Senate. The changes come after Pritzker nominee Jeffrey Mears was voted down by the Democratic-controlled Senate last week.
