(O”Fallon, IL) — An O’Fallon bookkeeper is facing four years in prison for a long-term fraud that cost one of her clients over a million dollars. Kathleen Dvorak was found guilty Friday of conducting a fraudulent scheme against a client that lasted from 2012 to 2019. Evidence presented at trial showed Dvorak tried to cover her tracks by making false entries into his Quickbooks accounting program. Dvorak will have to pay the victim nearly one-point-five million dollars, serve three years of supervised release once she gets out of prison, enter treatment for gambling addiction, and not participate in any other gambling activities.
