Vandalia Mayor talks some downtown improvements during Monday’s meeting

Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel discussed two different projects with major downtown improvements for the City of Vandalia.

During his report at Monday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Mayor Knebel mentioned he attended the ribbon cutting for the business re-location for Bulk Plant Resale in downtown Vandalia.  He also said that ribbon cutting included a tour of the upstairs lofts at the building.  And, Knebel mentioned one other downtown project.

Just before the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020, the City of Vandalia heard from a group–Downtown Strategies–and downtown apartment space being revitalized was one of the options discussed.
