More Info Revealed About Deadly Plane Crash in Whiteside Co

(Whiteside Co., IL) — More information is being revealed about a deadly plane crash last month in Whiteside County. The National Transportation Safety Board released a report that said the pilot who died, Justin Wiggins, was a student pilot who was flying a private plane. The aircraft went down on March 20th in a field just south of a runway at the Whiteside County Airport. Wiggins’s iPhone sent a crash detection alert to emergency crews. The 27-year-old was on his 10th solo flight on the day of the crash.
