Illinois Honoring Every ISP Trooper Killed In Line Of Duty

(Springfield, IL) — The state of Illinois will be honoring every Illinois State Police Officer killed in the line of duty. Over the next several months, IDOT and the Illinois Tollway will erect signs for all fallen ISP Officers. The new signs will be standardized for a uniform look. Since the agency began providing services on April 1st, 1922, 73 ISP Officers have died in the line of duty.
