(Danville, IL) — A Chicago man is receiving a 60-year prison sentence for murdering a two-year-old Danville child in his care in 2022. Dantrail Johnson was sentenced yesterday after he was found guilty in January of first-degree-murder in Vermilion County court on Friday. Prosecutors say Johnson was responsible for the injuries that resulted in the death of Cali Sago in September 2022. The coroner’s report listed Cali’s cause of death as blunt force trauma due to physical abuse.
