Billie Michelle Ward, age 33, of Vandalia, IL passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Billie was born July 14, 1992 the daughter of Bill Ward and Tina (Hill) Ladner in Centralia, IL. Billie loved to cook and watch anything true crime related. She was a free spirit and kind soul. She had the ability to find the good in every person she met. Billie loved her daughter, Stella, and fiancé, Robby, very much.
She is survived by her father; Bill Ward, her mother; Tina (Eric) Ladner, her fiancé; Robby Taylor, her daughter; Stella Taylor, her step-children; Taylor (Sam), DeHaven (Amanda), Pierson, Trinity, and Corynn, her grandchildren; Hunter, Evie, Russel, and Asher, her sisters; Samantha (Conrad) and Christina, her half-siblings; Austin (McKenzie) and Skylar, step-siblings; Rebecca, Christian, Kyle (Brittany), and Kati (Blain), mother-in-law; Leslie (Doug) Jackson, father-in-law; Robert C. Taylor Jr., and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother; Stella Ward, her grandfather; Melvin Hill, and her cousin; Shawna Ward.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Crown Point Church in Vandalia, IL, officiated by Pastor Pete LeDuc. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the services at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. Memorial donations can be made out to the family and/or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL is in charge of arrangements.
