(Sangamon County, IL) — A former Ball-Chatham School District employee is facing charges for allegedly spraying three Glenwood Elementary School students’ eyes with cleaning fluid. A Freedom of Information Act request revealed that 62-year-old Susan Perko was arrested by Chatham Police back on February 27th. The incident allegedly happened earlier that week at the school. Arrest documents state that security footage caught Perko entering the cafeteria with a spray bottle, filling it with an unknown substance, and spraying the group of juveniles.
