In their latest Weather Briefing, the National Weather Service in St. Louis says that numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through night. And, there is a conditional severe threat associated with these thunderstorms this afternoon, with the best time frame for severe will be from Noon until 5 pm today. The threat for our area today is marginal, with the bigger threat off to our south and west. Another round of severe weather is possible on Friday.
