We will be mostly cloudy and colder today and then wintry weather is on the way for tonight.
Our forecast today calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 45. Then, rain, snow and sleet tonight with a low of 32. Total snow and sleet accumulation is expected to be less than one inch.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a mix of rain and snow is expected overnight through early tomorrow morning. Where snow falls (mostly along/north of I-70), most will be light and stick only on grassy/elevated surfaces. Some sleet / light freezing rain are possible, but not likely enough to cause impacts. However, a narrow corridor of 2-4 inches of snow (dashed area) may stick to roads and reduce visibility between 9 PM and 3 AM.
Our onset time for wintry precip would be between 10 pm and midnight tonight and then it stopping between 6 am and 8 am Monday morning.
