A St. Elmo man is facing two Felony charges in Fayette County Court.
46 year old Lawrence W. Moore is facing a charge of Aggravated Battery, which is a Class 3 Felony. Information in the charge says that Moore is alleged to have grabbed an individual by the arm and threw her into the wall. And, Moore is also alleged to have know the individual was to be 60 years of age or older. Moore is also charged with Domestic Battery, which is a Class 4 Felony. Information says that the individual Moore is alleged to have grabbed and thrown was a family or household member. The charge also states that Moore has a prior conviction for Domestic Battery in Shelby County. Moore is also facing a charge of Aggravated Assault, which is a Class A Misdemeanor.
In Fayette County Court, pre-trial release for Moore was denied. He is now set for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with counsel on March 17th at 9 am.
