We will see mostly cloudy skies for today with a high of 47. Winds out of the south will bring that warmer air today and will gust at better than 35 miles per hour. Then, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with a low of 30 tonight.
Also, there is an elevated fire danger around the area today. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says warm, dry, and windy conditions will lead to erratic fire behavior today. Be careful with open flames, and be sure to fully extinguish any fires.
Also, rain is likely over the area on Wednesday night. As of now, the forecast calls for temperatures to stay just above freezing on Wednesday night.
