The COVID-Era rule that allowed for carryout cocktails at restaurants will become permanent state law on July 1st

Remember the COVID-Era rule that allowed you to have a carryout cocktail or other alcohol beverage with your food order?  Well, that rule will become permanent state law beginning on July 1st.

During last week’s Vandalia City Council meeting, City Attorney Ryan Connor spoke with the City Council about the rule.

Connor says between now and July 1st he hopes to look at the ordinances with any COVID restrictions and repeal those as they will now be covered by state statute.
