(Hammond, IN) — Speculation that the Bears may be moving to Indiana is heating up. Indiana lawmakers advanced legislation that would create a stadium finance authority to help the team build a stadium in Hammond, Indiana. The Bears released a statement calling the passage of the bill the most meaningful step forward in their stadium planning efforts to date. The team said it was committed to finishing the remaining site-specific due diligence to support their vision to build a world-class stadium near the Wolf Lake area in Hammond.
