Severe storms are still on track to the area this afternoon and we have now been upgraded and are in the Enhanced Risk area for severe storms.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis says thunderstorms have already begun developing over sections of eastern Missouri this morning. The main threat with morning thunderstorms is small to marginally severe hail around 1″ in diameter. Threats increase over Illinois, where all hazards will be possible, including the potential for a strong tornado (EF-2) over interior sections of Illinois.
