Sen Plummer response to Gov’s proposed budget and State of the State Address

State Senator Jason Plummer says what Governor J.B. Pritzker delivered on Wednesday was campaign grandstanding, not leadership.  He also adds they are not real solutions, but just a recycled set of talking points and cherry-picked, inflammatory claims that do nothing to relieve the pressure on Illinois families or to help the businesses trying to keep jobs here.  And, Senator Plummer said there are major issues for Illinois citizens at this time.

Senator Plummer also adds–that despite the Governor’s claims–the budget still is not balanced.  Lawmakers have now until the end of May to pass the new Fiscal Year budget for the State of Illinois.
