We will have our warmest day in months today.
We are looking at mostly sunny skies for today with a high of 60. Then, partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 28.
Our temperatures will level out for the remainder of the work week as we’ll see highs in the middle to upper 40’s on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, rain looks to be on the way this weekend. We have a chance of rain on Saturday, then rain likely on Saturday night and rain into Sunday with a low on Saturday night in the upper 30’s and a high in the upper 40’s on Sunday. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says chances (70-80%) for rain are increasing over the weekend, but it is not a slam dunk and plenty can change between now and then. Specifically, how much rain falls and where across our region and forecast area will be impacted by slight changes in the track of the system and how much moisture it is able to bring in.
