Vandalia Mayor says they will look more into the social media “lists” and also work on promoting their events better

We’ve all seen the lists that pop up on social media and other places—“10 best small town downtowns in Illinois” or something like “10 best small town weekend getaways in Illinois.”  Speaking on this week’s podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Doug Knebel says he’s not sure how those lists come about or how they are selected.  But, they would like to look into it a bit more to see if Vandalia can get on there.

And, Mayor Knebel says they are going to continue to work harder at promoting their own events throughout the area and beyond.
