It is not often we will refer to getting above freezing as a “warm up,” but today is one of those days.
We will see sunshine today and a high of 35. Then, mostly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 26. Saturday will be much the same as today around the area.
We do have a chance of snow. The forecast says Saturday night, but then says “after midnight” which would actually be early Sunday morning. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a cold front will bring precip chances back to the forecast late Saturday through early Sunday. Chances are highest in our north, with that area seeing most if not all snow. Further south, the chance of precip decreases substantially, and these areas are likely to see all rain. A rain/snow mix will exist in the middle, including the St. Louis metro.
Sunrise today is at 7:00 am and sunset at 4:34 pm.
