The Brownstown/St. Elmo Lady Bombers used a big second quarter to come away with a 62-37 win over the Dieterich Lady Maroons. Both teams got off to a slow start offensively with BSE narrowly outscoring Dieterich 11-7 in the first quarter. The Bombers go their offense going in the 21-6 run highlighted by an 8 point quarter from Dayana Haslett and a 6 point quarter from Madi Miller to take a 32-13 halftime lead. Dieterich would attempt to get back into the game applying full-court pressure, but BSE would outscore them 30-24 in the second half to secure the 62-37 win. The win improves BSE to 7-1 on the season, and 2-0 in NTC play. The Lady Bombers will be at home on Friday to take on Webber. Dieterich falls to 4-3 on the season, and 0-2 in NTC play. The Maroons will be at home for another conference matchup to take on North Clay.
