The Festival of Lights in Vandalia has been open for a few weeks now, but will get their official opening this Saturday.
The Festival of Lights this year features 136 Christmas displays and 114 In Memory Of Angels. This Saturday, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand, along with live Reindeer, Cookies and cocoa with the Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, and the Vandalia Park District will be serving hot dogs, chips and drink.
Admission is free to the Festival of Lights, but there is a donation box on site for any monetary donations.
Festival of Lights is at Rogier Park in Vandalia on West Fillmore Street across from Vandalia High School. The Festival of Lights is open every night starting at 5 pm through January 1st.
