Some snow is moving through the area this morning.
The forecast says snow is likely main before 10 am with total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible this morning.
On the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency’s Facebook page it states—-
I spoke with the National Weather Service out of St. Louis this morning. They let me know there is a band of light to moderate snow moving into the area this morning that could bring up to a half inch of snow especially in the eastern parts of Fayette County. Please make sure you allow extra time and reduce your speeds while driving. Road temperatures are sub freezing and any precipitation is expected to stick. Gusty winds could also reduce visibility. Stay safe and warm all.
