Something is always a good idea is to help out and donate to local food pantries. And, that is even more important at this time.
During Monday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Mayor Doug Knebel just reminded everyone to help out the area’s food pantries during a time when they face more pressure than normal.
With the federal government closed, SNAP benefits were not paid out on November 1st.
