The filing period is now complete for the March 17th, 2026 Illinois Primary Election. The filing period was completed at the end of business on Monday.
Here is a full list of filings for Fayette County Board (there are two seats in each county board district)–
District 1-Republican Rick Radliff filed his petition to run. Republican County Board member and current County Board Chairman Jacob Harris did not file to run for another term.
District 2-Republican Dan Lutz filed to run for the 2 year unexpired term. Republican County Board member Mack Payne filed his petition to run for re-election.
District 3-Republican Michael Butts filed his petition to run for re-election.
District 4-Republican Pat Click filed his petition to run for re-election.
District 5-Republican Heidi Schulte filed her petition to run. Democrat County Board member Ashley Towler did not file to run for another term.
District 6-Republican James Wehrle filed his petition to run for re-election.
District 7-Republican Jaqueline Durr filed to run for the 2 year unexpired term. Democrat County Board member Scott Ray filed to run for re-election.
County Wide Offices-
For County Clerk-Republican Jessica Barker filed her petition to run for re-election. She will be challenged by Republican Kara Dugan in the Primary.
For Sheriff-Republican Ronnie Stevens filed his petition to run for re-election.
For Treasurer-Republican Michelle Hagy filed her petition to run for re-election.
For Supervisor of Assessments-Republican Ryan Parks filed his petition to run for re-election.
