There were a few more petitions filed for Fayette County races on Tuesday.
For the County Board, Republican Scott Workman filed his petition to remain on the county board in District 6. Workman was appointed to the spot to fill the vacancy earlier this year left when Doug Knebel was elected Vandalia Mayor.
Also on Tuesday, Republican Ronnie Stevens filed his paperwork to run for Re-Election as Fayette County Sheriff.
Individuals have through Monday to file their petitions for the March 17th, 2026 Primary.
