There were a few filings on Day One of the filing period for the March 17th, 2026 Primary in Fayette County.
For County Board, Republican Pat Click filed his petition to run for another term in District 4. Republican Rick Radliff filed his petition to run in District 1 and Republican Heidi Schulte filed her petition to run for Fayette County Board in District 5.
As for County Wide offices, there will be a Primary contest. Republican Incumbent County Clerk Jessica Barker filed her petition to run for re-election. She will be challenged in the March Primary by Republican Kara Dugan, who also filed her petition on Monday.
Also on Monday, Republican Treasurer Michelle Hagy filed her petition to run for re-election.
The petition filing period will continue through Monday, November 3rd.
