(Quincy, IL) — Governor Pritzker is celebrating the grand opening of the new Illinois Veterans’ Home at Quincy. The governor attended an opening ceremony yesterday at the 300-million-dollar facility. The home includes a long-term care facility and an independent living residence. It also features multi-purpose space, administrative offices, and stores. The upgraded facility has the capacity to support 467 residents and currently employs 417 staff.
