The Vandals scored early and often and made it a quick night as they pick up the 49 to 0 win at North Mac on Friday night to remain undefeated on the year.
The Vandals defense was very strong on the night and kept the field tilted in the Vandals direction in the 1st quarter and gave the Vandals an opportunity to roll to a 28 to 0 lead after 1 quarter play. The Vandals had two personal foul penalties that helped contribute to a North Mac drive to start the 2nd quarter. But, the Vandals were able to stop the Panthers on 4th down and get the ball back deep in their own territory. The Vandals would score two more times in the 2nd quarter to get it to a 42 to 0 lead at halftime and get the game in running clock for the entire 2nd half. The Vandals tacked on 1 more score in the 2nd half and also finished off the shutout to pick up the win in their final road game of the regular season.
The Vandals are now 8-0 on the season. They can wrap up their first undefeated regular season since 2019 and a Conference Championship next week when they will host 0-8 Litchfield for Senior Night at Mark Greer Field.
