We will see another day much like our last few.
We are looking at partly sunny skies for today with a high of 80. It won’t get as cool tonight as we’ll see partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of just 61.
Meanwhile, showers and storms are on the way to the area for Saturday and Saturday night and severe storms are possible for the area. In the latest Weather Briefing from the National Weather Service in St. Louis it states that showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday as a cold front moves through the region. The NWS says the greatest threat for severe thunderstorms is between 12 pm and 6 pm on Saturday, mainly in southeast Missouri and southwestern Illinois–but there is a threat throughout the area. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats along with locally heavy rainfall, but tornadoes are also possible.
Sunrise today is at 7:08 am and sunset is set for 6:14 pm.
