Today is Purple Thursday. It’s a day to wear purple to show support Domestic Violence Awarness Month. SWAN Victim Advocate Kaghen Knox says it’s one of the ways to support this month.
SWAN is available for anyone facing domestic violence. They have an office at 200 W. Johnson Street in Vandalia and they also have a 24/7 hotline at 1-888-715-6260.
