We will see another day of mild conditions and sunshine today. But, we are just a couple of days away from some change in the weather.
We will see sunny skies for today with a high of 79. Then, mostly clear skies tonight with a low of 52. We are looking at much the same on Friday and then even warmer temperatures on Friday night.
Meanwhile, showers and storms are on the way to the area on Saturday and Saturday night and we could be looking at some strong to severe storms. In the latest Weather Briefing from the National Weather Service in St. Louis it states that a cold front will produce widespread rain on Saturday and potentially a few strong to severe thunderstorms. The NWS says that severe storms are still less likely than simply widespread beneficial rain. Overall, higher chances exist to our south. However, there has been a trend towards a slower cold front, which slightly increases the chance for strong/severe storms in our area. The most likely timing would be on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Sunrise today is at 7:07 am and sunset is at 6:16 pm.
