Fayette County has placed their FY ’26 budget out for public display.
At their meeting on Tuesday night, the County Board discussed the budget for the next fiscal year and put it out for the public to see it. Fayette County Board Chairman Jacob Harris says despite having missing money from the state, they were able to make it a balanced budget.
In total, the budget is $7,502,542. And, as Harris says they had to make up better than $500,000 in reduced funds from the state.
