The City of Vandalia has hired a new Water Department Superintendent.
At their September 22nd meeting, the City of Vandalia authorized the hiring of Joseph Simpson as the new head of the Water Department. Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel says they were excited to get Simpson on board and he says the Water Treatment Plant coming soon does make it an attractive position.
Mayor Knebel says that Simpson brings better than 20 years of experience to the position.
