A Vandalia man is facing a total of 8 counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault in Fayette County Court.
38 year old Timothy R. Worstell has been charged with the 8 counts, which are all Class X Felonies. The charges all say that Worstell is alleged to have committed a sexual act with an individual under the age of 13 with the initials for that individual the same in each charge. Many of the charges are from different periods of time.
Count 1 & 2–from June 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017
Count 3–from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018
Count 4–from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019
Count 5–from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020
Count 6–from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021
Counts 7 & 8–from May 1, 2022 to August 30,2022
Worstell was due in Fayette County Court on Wednesday morning. No further information from his court appearance is available at this time.
