There is a Healthy Aging Fair being held today at the Fayette County Senior Citizen Center at 616 W. Jackson Street in Vandalia.
The event will be going on from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm today and is open to the public. The event brings together 18 local organizations offering resources, health information, and services tailored to older adults. And, guests will have the opportunity to connect with experts from healthcare, wellness, and aging support agencies. There will also be flu vaccines available and the Fayette County Farm Bureau will have a mobile dairy pantry. The guest speaker will Lisa Light, who is a Long Term Care ombudsman.
