Today marks the 24th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people and injured thousands more. It remains the deadliest terrorist attack in history as well as the deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement personnel in American history—as 343 firefighters and 72 law enforcement members died in the attacks.
We will hold a Moment of Silence this morning on WKRV & WPMB at 7:46 am—that is the time when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
At I70 Media we promise to Never Forget.
